Yeah, I get it. People who hate him hate everything he does. It’s like Trump.

He is intellectually lazy and completely dishonest. It's not a question of hating him. It's recognizing that he lies all the time and gets away with it.

I get your viewpoint. I’m just not into the politics and culture fights much. I know people in those things find that unconscionable, but it’s just how I choose to live. At no point did I write to “let Elon Musk oversee truth.” If you want to engage on the substance of media business models, superb. But I’ll pass on the other stuff.

Okay but, given the composition and direction of Twitter's user base, this is a catastrophe for brand safety. Why would, e.g., Ben and Jerry's (or Bud Light, or pick brand outrage du jour) advertise on Twitter when they're going to get swarmed and a note appended saying "users comment that Brand X are a bunch of groomers and communists"?

He's already working with Facebook to muddle elections do not worry. Another Cambridge analytica in making. They are going to sell data to anyone who wants to buy them.
