Since many of them were better writers and far better reporters, I figured it was best to go with a differentiator. I also loved living in NYC and didn’t want to go to some small newspaper and work my way up to Newsday, already felt backwards in 1999.
The biggest cost of the Industrial Revolution, of course, was and continues to be its impact on earth’s climate. Not sure the costs of AI can be any greater than that.
